Attachment Therapy Intensives:

Intensives are short-term therapy sessions (3-4 consecutive days) lasting 3-5 hours at a time.  They are designed primarily for children with Reactive Attachment Disorder to move the emotionally stuck child so that the child can begin to benefit from regular therapy. Intensives are done with consultations through CARE (Center for Attachment and Enrichment Resources). These services can be performed in the office which ensures proper follow-up with Dr. Gangarosa-Emerson.  Fees must be paid at the time of service. Paperwork will be given to the parent to file with insurance which may offset part of the cost of these services.  Some county Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS) agencies may pay for these services in the case of foster care or adoption.
