Once your child has been assessed, you, as parents, may be in need of Advocacy Consultation. Set up a consultation with Dr. Gangarosa-Emerson and a school advocate to review test results, need for an IEP or appropriateness of current IEP (Individual Educational Plan). You will be taught to serve as your child’s own advocate and have a solid plan outlined for you to attain/modify services based on test results. For those who require additional assistance,  you can secure an advocate who will come with you to school meetings.  Consultation services are not covered by insurance.
